Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have a large car park for approximately 40 cars to the rear of StudioFlex.

What should I wear?

What ever you feel comfortable working out in! However it’s best to avoid baggy shorts and we recommend wearing a long sleeve top for Aerial classes as some of the binding techniques can cause the silk hammocks to rub on the skin. Active wear from lululemon and Varley is available to purchase at our Studio.

Are you a socks only studio?

Yes, we require grippy socks for all of our classes for your safety. If you don’t have any, we have a variety of cool styles and colours available to purchase!

Wow, I'm sweaty! Do you have a shower?

Yes, we have separate Male and Female changing facilities, each with two screened showers, complimentary shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. There is also a hairdryer available for use.

What can I do with all my stuff during class?

We have 12 key-operated lockers in each changing area available for you to store your belongings safely. There are also cubbies in each Studio for smaller items such as your trainers, sweater, phone (on silent) and keys.

Do I need to bring a towel?

Yes, unfortunately we don’t provide laundered towels.

What do I need to bring?

Water bottle, yoga/pilates mat and yourself!

Can I borrow or hire a mat?

All mat-based and Aerial classes include the use of a mat. However, you can bring your own if you’d prefer. We also sell mats at reception.

Do I have to sign up in advance?

Yes, you must sign up to all of our classes in advance. This can be done via our website or our app up to 12 hours prior to a class commencing. If you wish to sign up within 12 hours of a scheduled class starting, please contact reception in person or call us on 01473 708919.

When does class sign-up open and close?

Classes open for sign-up online exactly two weeks prior to the class start time. The online sign-up closes exactly 12 hours prior to the class start time, but late sign-ups can book into a class at reception or by phone on 01473 708919 within 12 hours of the class starting, depending on availability.

How early should I show up for a class?

We’d appreciate it if you could aim to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your class start time to ensure everyone is on time and you all benefit from a complete workout. If it’s your first visit to StudioFlex, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your class so that one of our Team will have the opportunity to show you around.

Can you wait for me to start class, I'm running late?

No, we always start and end classes on time. If you’re running late, please join the class quietly. Your mat/reformer/hammock will be unoccupied in preparation for your arrival.

Can I cancel a class booking?

Yes. However, to avoid a full-class charge, please cancel your reservation online at least 12 hours prior to class start time.

Can I sign-in for a class on my phone using the StudioFlex app once I arrive at the Studio?

No, we ask that phones are either switched off or on silent during classes… better still stored in a locker. Sign-in can be completed at reception using one of the touchscreens.

Are your classes good for beginners?

All of our classes are beginner-friendly. If you are a first-timer please let your instructor know. Everyone and every BODY is different! Some of our Aerial and Reformer classes are specifically aimed at beginners and you should always book one of these classes when it’s your first time.

Are your classes good for pregnant women?

If you have had previous experience in our StudioFlex classes, yes. If you are a first-timer we recommend a prenatal specific class.

Are your classes good for kids?

Children over 12 years old are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must sign a waiver. Regular classes are not modified for children. Over-16s can join classes on their own. All children under 12 should look out for our classes that are specific to kids.

What are 'Studio' classes?

All of our ‘Studio’ classes have a maximum capacity of 12 participants. A list of Studio classes can be found on our ‘classes’ page. Studio class packages do not allow access to Aerial yoga, Box Fit or Reformer classes as these are ‘Premium Studio’ classes.

What are 'Premium Studio' classes?

All of our ‘Premium Studio’ classes have a smaller capacity of 9, 5 or 4 participants. A list of Premium Studio classes can be found on our ‘classes’ page. Premium Studio class packs do not allow access to Studio classes.

What is a class pack?

A class pack is a pricing option to get multiple classes for a reduced rate. Packs may NOT be shared amongst friends or family members. All Packs have an expiry date of 12 months depending on the quantity purchased.

Can I share class packs with my spouse/friend/parent/sibling/child?

No, class packs are listed in your name on our system.

The instructor I like isn't here, can i get a refund?

No, we reserve the right to substitute the instructor at any time if necessary.

Can I use CafeFlex if I'm not attending a class at StudioFlex?

Yes, although during busy periods we will reserve tables to ensure our customers using our group exercises classes have priority.

How much do I pay for each class?

Studio classes range between £16 – £13, Premium Studio classes range between £13 – £18 depending on the size of class pack purchased. The more you commit, the more you save!

How does the waiting list for classes work?

All classes allow two people to sign up to the waiting list once the class booking reaches its capacity. As soon as someone cancels their class, the spot in the class gets offered to the next person in line on the waiting list. As soon as we notice there are consistent waiting lists for classes we have the capacity to add extra classes to our schedule across our three studios to avoid disappointment!
